Summary: | In the early hours of 2nd September 1666, a fire broke out at a bakery in Pudding Lane in the City of London. This edition of the map, the original of which is in the Musuem of London, presents a history which gives statistics and facts about the disaster, as well as eye witness accounts of Samuel Pepys, who wrote about it in his famous diary. |
