"In 1805, five plates were added to those engraved by Piroli after Flaxman's designs in Rome in 1793 for a new edition of the Iliad designs. Of the new plates, three [nos. 1, 2, and 5] were signed by Blake and two (nos. 14 and 37) by Parker. All the other plates (except for the unsigned title page) have Piroli's name on the engraving, though in 1793 Piroli's name had appeared only on the title page."--Bentley and Nurmi, A Blake bibliography.
