Te lucis ante terminum is the composer's 1st setting (cf. N. Grove) of the Compline hymn beginning with the words Procul recedant somnia; the two verses not set by Tallis are chanted.
All are for 5 unacc. voices except Spem in alium, which is performed with organ acc.
Sung in Latin.
Originally issued as a compact disc.
Program notes include the texts with English translations.
