The Female Benevolent Society, belonging to the First Congregational Church in this city, have had their attention forcibly called to the subject of female work and wages. They appointed a committee to investigate the subject and collect facts. The report of that committee they now publish, with a proposed plan of action ... Providence, March 6, 1837."--T.p., verso.
