Summary: | A collection of Dr. Schwartz' most cited articles on monetary economics dating from 1947 to the present, many being no longer readily available. Between 1899 and 1904 Monet produced nearly 100 paintings of London's Charing Cross Bridge, Waterloo Bridge, and the Houses of Parliament, in different light and weather conditions. He set up his work so that he could observe the changes in light and atmosphere from a fixed point of view; the three landmarks give a structure and a point of reference to his notations. Forty-seven illustrations, 27 in color. No index. Paper edition $19.95 not seen. Annotation copyrighted by Book News, Inc., Portland, OR |
