Summary:	De beelden van Gerhard Lentink nemen op de tentoonstelling en binnen onze collectie een bijzondere plaats in. Beeldengalerij Het Depot heeft vorig jaar zijn schepping 'Madonna der dagen' een prominente plaats in de entree gegeven. Bij binnenkomst wordt de bezoeker overweldigd door de afmeting, kleur, vorm en door de 370 luikjes die de Madonna zo bijzonder maken. Het beeld staat, samen met de 'Anatomico Che Cammina' van Novello Finotti en de 'Venus' van Eja Siepman van den Berg, symbool voor de doelstelling van Stichting Utopa en de Stichting Het Depot. In het beeld is het erfgoed van 370 Europeanen verzameld. Op 7 april opende Het Depot de nieuwe thematentoonstelling: Taal in Beeld & Gerhard Lentink. Deze tentoonstelling toont een groot deel van het oeuvre van Gerhard Lentink, dat gekenmerkt wordt door grootse houten sculpturen. Lentink voedt zich met elementen uit de klassieke oudheid, met mythologie, literatuur, poezië, beeldende kunst en muziek. Exhibition: Het Depot, Wageningen, the Netherlands (7.4.-22.9.2013).
