Summary:Gene Payne, Assistant Director of the National College for School Leadership's Networked Learning Group , talks to representatives of one of Bedfordshire's Learning Communities about the strong cross-phase, primary and secondary, focus of their network. Gene visits Samuel Whitbread Community College and Roecroft Lower School, both of which belong to a pyramid network of 22 schools. He sees classroom activities and meets staff from some of the schools involved, who explain how they are working together to raise the level of boys achievement across Upper, Middle, and Lower schools.
