Summary:Wouldn't it be great if teachers had the opportunity to produce their own videos and have them broadcast on Teachers TV? Well, that's what Action! Teacher Video is all about; and in this episode you can see a video created by Lou Harrison, an Advanced Skills Teacher from Shelthorpe Community School in Leicestershire, called The Irresistible Curriculum. This video looks at involving pupils in curriculum planning and development and focuses on the pupil voice.Presenter Xanthe Steen is joined in the studio by Lou, education consultant Adrienne Jones and fellow teachers Bruce Warland and Vickie Crombie, to discuss the contents of the video. They talk about the use of video to record the pupils views and how the pupils sense of an audience had an impact on their attitudes and contributions. They also consider the implications of Teacher Video as a tool for teacher assessment and CPD.See the resources and support materials page for links related to this programme.
