Summary:Staff at Hexthorpe Primary believe regular peer observation among colleagues has transformed their teaching practice and allowed them to take control of their own CPD. This programme takes a detailed look at the practice in action, with two Year 6 teachers. We see how an observation is planned and structured and how suitable feedback is provided. Those involved explain how the process can benefit both parties and how they aim to overcome initial resistance to the idea through establishing a contract with a pre-arranged focus before any observation.
Target Audience:For Primary School audiences.
