Summary:Daniil Kharms - one of the key figures in Russian literature of the last century, the greatest representative of the Russian and international avant-garde of the 1920s-1930s, the famous children's author, a man whose character and way of life gave rise to legends and anecdotes. This biography of D. Kharms is based on his own diaries and transcriptions, memories from people who close to him, as well as archival materials and contains a number of new facts related to the writer and his family. Alexander Vvedenski, Nikolai Oleinikov, Nikolai Zabolotskii, and philosophers, Yakov Druskin and Leonid Lipavskii were his comrade-in-arms and the heroes of the book. It collects more than two hundred illustrations, among them are the reproduction of drawings, photographs of D. Kharms and his contemporaries. Many unique documents are published for the first time.
