| Summary: | "The Łódź Film School is a special place. Here, as if against the reality surrounding this place on Earth, there flows a source of energy that connects people. Everyone who studied, taught or worked on Targowa Street has experienced significant moments. The School has existed for 65 years. During that time, it sprouted an enormous amount of fimls, stories and images, that have formed its legend. an impressive, romantic and mostly true legend, that is however unavoidably one dimensional and limited. Everyone who truly experienced the School holds their own particular perspective on this place. These diverse outlooks do not meet at one point; instead, they form a thick, intriguing and ever-living tangle of facts, emotions, interpretations and references. That is why our album does not provide laurels, describe great events or shape a chronology. It does not try to be authoritative, just or well-behaved. It is not prose; it attempts to be poetry. An attempt to capture at least a part of the Łódź Film School phenomenon through a kaleidoscope of images, individual words, emotions, memories and surprising reinterpretations. It is an invitation to journey through an ocean of images, just for the pure, sensual joy of traveling, behond historical logic or nationality, just as the Łódź film School constantly sails onwards, trying to discover new lands..."--Introduction.
