Summary:Hearing before the Subcom No. 2 to consider H.R. 3532, to provide for private relief of Donald L. Tyndall, Bruce E. Tyndall, Kimberly F. Tyndall, Lisa M. Tyndall, and the estate of Elizabeth M. Tyndall, who were occupants in an automobile that collided on Oct. 5, 1967, in Duplin County, N.C., with a Government-owned truck driven by USMC Private First Class Robert H. Braathe, who was intoxicated.
Bill responds to claims that USMC was liable for improperly securing the vehicle at New River USMC Air Station in Jacksonville, N.C., that resulted in injuries to Tyndall family members and to the death of Elizabeth M. Tyndall.
