Summary:A multidisciplinary collaboration that explores and documents the transcultural and urban transformations of the Mexican town of Patzcuaro. The city of Patzcuaro (MIchoacan) was declared historic monuments zone on 19 December 1990, and it's renowned historical, architectural and cultural values were recognized, manifested from its foundation to the present day. The zone covers an area of nearly one kilometer, and is comprised of 42 blocks with 300 buildings which, according to the Federal law on monuments and archaeological, artistic and historical, are historic monuments because they were built between the 16th to the 19th centuries.
