| Summary: | Uchinokoto - is gebaseerd op het Japanse woord Uchi, wat 'huis, familie, binnen en in sommige regios ik betekent. Elk van deze definities is zeer bepalend in het vormen van de basis van iemands identiteit. Acht kunstenaars en één ontwerper allen woonachtig in Nederland maar van oorsprong uit Japan, Duitsland en Nederland gingen naar Japan en onderzochten het terrein rondom Uchi - origine en identiteit. Hun inzichten worden op verschillende wijze geuit en gepresenteerd door middel van lezingen, performances, video's, installaties, workshops en de projectwebsite.
