Summary:Describes child support issues faced by noncustodial parents and discusses areas in which legal services providers funded by the Legal Services Corp. are authorized to support poor noncustodial parents. Covers paternity issues, child support orders established by default, child support arrearages, modification of child support orders, issues related to custody and visitation, criminal nonsupport laws v. civil enforcement of child support, and issues related to incarcerated and newly released noncustodial parents.
