Unpublished memoirs of a Czech artist who had studied in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century, took part in anti-Axis resistance during World War II, and emigrated to America after World War II, chiefly about his life prior to arriving in the United States. First volume accompanied by receipt for submission fee from the Writers Guild of America, West, Inc., dated Oct. 18, 1977.
