Summary:One hundred years of watercolors by fifteen Chilean female artists presenting 45 works from the holdings of the Museo Histórico Nacional, thel Museo de Arte y Artesanía de Linares and private collections, organized under the direction of artist Micaelina Campos. A decisive aspect for the formation of this group of watercolor artists was the creation of the course of watercolor at the University of Chile, whose first professor was Israel Roa in 1939. Among his most outstanding students were Ana Cortés (1895-1998), Roser Bru (1923), Dinora Doudchitzky (1914-2004), and Lea Kleiner (1929). In the contemporary context, the participating artists include author Micaelina Campos, Inés Harnecker and Luz María Villarroel.
