Summary: | First catalogue of the museum ISIC-MASIN, published on the celebration on its twenty-fifth anniversary. Founded in 1991 in a 19th century building in the city of Culiacan, the Museum of Art of Sinaloa comprises more than 400 works of art by recognized artists such as Francisco Goitia, Juan Cordero, Santiago Rebull, Rufino Tamayo, Jose Luis Cuevas, Arnold Belkin, Fermin Revueltas, Dr. Atl, Francisco Toledo, Pedro Coronel and many others. A collection from the 19th century Mexican School of Painting and a self-portrait of Diego Rivera (1906) stand out within the works in the collection.
