Summary:The United States and other countries throughout the world have suffered from catastrophic terrorism causing mass casualties. Elsewhere, terrorists have taken the lives of prominent people in ostentatiously cruel ways. In Iraq, bloody terrorist attacks are an endemic phenomenon. They have become part of daily life.
