Summary:Financial advisor and foundation executive Tamara Harris Robinson was born on August 13, 1967 in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. She earned her B.A. degree in economics in 1988 and her M.B.A. degree in 1989, both from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her M.S.W. and her M.P.A. degrees from New York University in 2012. In 1990, Robinson worked as an associate at Prudential Financial, going on to become an equity research analyst at Deutsche Bank and at Salomon, Inc. in Hong Kong. Robinson co-founded the North Jersey Advocates for Education and the Robinson Harris Foundation with her then-husband. She served as president of the North Jersey Advocates for Education from 2003 to 2009. From 2008 to 2013, Robinson served as vice chair of the Board of Directors of the United Negro College Fund. Robinson founded Haramat Group in 2011, and Tamara Harris LLC in 2013.
