Summary:Management consultant Bernard Kinsey was born on September 20, 1943 in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1971, he was hired at Xerox Corporation as a field service manager. Kinsey became a vice president of Xerox within ten years. He holds the distinction of achieving number-one status nationally in every sales and marketing position he held from 1968 to 1984. Kinsey also worked to create a program for recruiting African Americans and other minorities and training them for jobs with opportunities for advancement. In 1992, he became co-chairman of Rebuild Los Angeles. RLA's mission was to bring jobs, economic opportunities and pride to the area devastated by the 1992 Los Angeles riots. Kinsey served as president of KBK Enterprises, a management consulting firm. He was a recognized expert and leader in the field of urban revitalization and economic development and counseled the governments of South Africa, Germany, England, Israel and France.
