Summary:Financial advisor H. Marrel Foushee was born on June 26, 1949, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. After serving in the U.S. Air Force, he attended Howard University, where he earned his M.A. degree in 1977. In addition to owning two businesses, Foushee's Tax and Financial Management Services and Foushee's Business Management Services, he served in a number of federal and local government posts with agencies including the Department of Energy and the Washington D.C. Youth Services Administration. He was also active in broadcasting, hosting weekly radio shows offering business and tax advice for over a decade. Foushee received a number of awards for his achievements, including the Outstanding Professional of Washington, D.C. Award and a Presidential Citation from the D.C. Chamber of Commerce. He served as the president of the Coalition of Black Professional Organizations, and appeared in Who's Who in Black Corporate America.
