Summary:Executive recruiter and lawyer Charles Tribbett, III was born on October 25, 1955 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Attending Chicago's Neil Elementary School and St. Dorothy's Catholic School, Tribbett graduated from Mendel Catholic High School in 1973. He received his B.S. degree in political science from Marquette University in 1977 and his J.D. degree from the University of Virginia Law School in 1980. Initially, a securities attorney in New York City, Tribbett eventually relocated to Chicago where he became a partner at Abraham and Sons. Joining the executive search firm of Russell Reynolds Associates in 1989, Tribbett was co-leader of the firm's CEO and Board Services Practice, specializing in CEO, board of directors and diversity assignments. The co-author of Business Evolves, Leadership Endures: Leadership Traits that Stand the Test of Time, Fortune magazine named Tribbett as one of the 50 most powerful black executives in corporate America.
