Summary:Entrepreneur and electrical engineer John Terry was born on September 29, 1966 in Norfolk, Virginia. He attended Old Dominion University, where he earned his B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 1988. After graduation, Terry moved to Cleveland, Ohio to work at the NASA Lewis Research Center on array signal processing, also known as MIMO technology. While working at NASA, he earned his M.S. degree from Cleveland State University in 1993. He worked at Texas Instruments after NASA and attended the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and research in 1999. Terry was a principal scientist at the Nokia Corporation's Research Center in Dallas, Texas. In 2001, he founded Terry Consultants, Incorporated, which specializes in helping businesses with new wireless technologies. Terry owned and co-owned more than seventeen issued and pending patents. He has published several articles, two books, and has received several awards.
