Summary: | Lurihuasi is a Late Archaic Period archaeological site of the Caral-Supe culture (3000-1800 BC), located on the left bank of the Rio Supe. The site is built within in a creek and has a semicircular distribution and consists of a series of pyramidal buildings - that fulfilled various functions, residential areas and public spaces, which highlights a main mound, in addition to five secondary mounds and platforms of different sizes; adding 24 structures that occupy an area of 93.4 acres.
