Summary:"Criminal Defense Strategies during the Nuremberg Justice Trial Using the Example of the Defendant Oswald Rothaug" 13 war crimes trials took place in Nuremberg, after World War II. One of those became famous as "Justice Trial." This trial dealt among others with the inhuman jurisdiction of the German "People's Court" and the special courts. The book investigates the arguments the defense lawyer Josef Kößl raised to defend Oswald Rothaug against the accusations of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Nevertheless, Rothaug was found guilty and sentenced to lifelong imprisonment.
