Summary:Seven art photographers of the next generation embark on their discovery of a city. With this specific task in mind, the publication looks at current artistic strategies in fine art photography, various fields of thought, and potential avenues for materialisation and exhibition, just as they might debated today at a foremost school for art photography. The series INN SITU at the BTV Stadtforum/FO. KU. S in Innsbruck regularly sends out invitations to explore and engage with the region through photography. Art photographers active at the international level each put together an exhibition on site. The first invitation went out to Prof. Joachim Brohm's class for photography and media at the Academy of Visual Arts Leipzig (HGB). The Academy is one of Europe's leading teaching establishments for art photography. Leipzig alumni are now themselves the driving force behind the photography discourse in both teaching and artistic practice in many places. All the exhibitions featured as part of the INN SITU series are put together from scratch for the BTV Stadtforum. Around three such invitations and publications are planned each year. Exhibition: BTV Stadtforum, Innsbruck, Austria (02.10.2018 - 26.01.2019).
