Summary:The research group Grupo de Pesquisa História da Arte: modos de ver, exibir e compreender, with the support of the Museu de Artes Visuais of Unicamp aims to relect on art, history of art and the artistic object in its various dimensions and materialization, from a multidisciplinary approaches. Accepting different points of view, it is of interest to the MODOS group to discuss the artistic object inserted in the practices of the lived, in the actions and reactions of its production, circulation, reception and disappearance. Due to research and scientific meetings, the group launches the series"História da Arte em...". Each publication, in the form of a collection, proposes a thematic appeal to reflect on the conditions and transformations of aesthetic perception about the object, about its significations and on the rewrites of his stories. The group is also responsible for the electronic magazine MODOS, back to the discussion of places of exhibition, circulation, collections and narratives that institute how we perceive, interpret and disseminate artistic production and the object of art. "Several researchers were invited to reflect on multiple and complex forms of collections, both private and public, Brazilian and Portuguese, protagonists or deprived, perceiving how these art works and their agents transit, navigate, cross times and borders."
