Summary:	The first version was written in 2007 in Russian, and published on the Internet. It has been rewritten in Armenian and edited in 2016-2017 with the help of Heriknaz Harutyunyan. This "memoir-novel" is based on the author's memories, meetings and contacts with Hrant Matevosyan, but it does not pretend to be a documentary. The words attributed to Hrant in the text are reproduced from memory. It presents views of Armenia in the 1960s and 1980s, and in its Armenian version, gives the author's changing views on the world and Hrant from the perspective of the 1980s, 2007 and 2017.
