Summary:	"中国墓室壁画史论"从通史层面上描述中国墓室壁画的发展面貌. 首先, 理论体系层面上, 明确提出重生信仰对墓室壁画的支持, 讨论儒教的归属性, 以及与道教,佛教的区别. 其次, 发展阶段层面上, 首次提出中国墓室壁画发展分为汉魏晋南北朝的兴盛期,唐宋元的繁荣期和明清的衰退期三个阶段. 再次, 艺术价值层面上, 一方面, 重点描述兴盛期和繁荣期的典型墓室壁画, 同时强调地下埋藏的保存条件; 另一方面, 重点描述中国墓室壁画的沿革有序特征, 认识其在世界艺术发展史上的不可比价值. 最后, 首次制作了完整的中国墓室壁画遗存年表, 提供考古成果方面的基本信息.
