Summary:There is a woman who appears and disappears in the life of this almost 60-year-old musician, like an angel or demon, and removes everything. So much so that this confessional story begins that has the intensity with which a stranger is spoken to a stranger in a bar. Deeply traversed by music, history covers the character's relationship with alcohol, with women, with children, with the passage of time, but also with his artistic decisions and the role of his generation in culture and society. The songs are entangled in the discourse as in life, that echo in the wood that becomes lyrics and asks Mateo for the first verse of his Song for the drummer. The narrator builds a still nostalgia with which he starts talking about his life and, almost unintentionally, ends up telling the story of Uruguayan music of the last fifty years.
