Summary:Entrepreneur Tristan Walker was born on July 5, 1984 in Queens, New York. He attended the Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut and graduated in 2002. He earned his B.A. degree in economics from Stony Brook University in 2005, and his M.B.A. degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2010. Walker spent several years working as an analyst and trader for Lehman Brothers, Inc. and JPMorgan Chase Co. in New York City. After graduate school, he became the director of business development at Foursquare Labs, Inc. Walker also worked as the entrepreneur-in-residence at the venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz in Menlo Park, California. Walker then became the founder and chairman of CODE2040 in 2012 to mentor promising young students and professionals and promote diversity in Silicon Valley. Then, in 2013, Walker became the founder and CEO of Walker & Company Brands, Inc. an African health and beauty products company.
