This assessment of the implementation of the Basel Core Principles for Effective Banking Supervision (BCPs) was undertaken as part of an IMF Financial Sector Assessment Program (FSAP) Update for Jersey in 2008, and in particular was prepared during an IMF mission that visited Jersey in November 2008. This assessment follows-up on an earlier BCP assessment performed in the context of the 2002/2003 IMF Offshore Financial Center (OFC) assessment of Jersey. The assessors were Jürgen Dreymann (BaFin) and Keith Bell (banking supervision consultant).
