Summary:Albania's economic recovery remains strong, benefiting from a favorable domestic and external environment. Economic growth is picking up backed by strong domestic demand, energy-related foreign direct investment, and exports of services. The current account deficit is narrowing and the level of foreign exchange reserves remains comfortable. Inflation is low and public debt is declining. While credit growth is weak, banks are liquid and stable.
