Summary:"Digitalization has been a driver of the transformation of business and society, leading to a radical change in the idea and the shape of what is work, what are organizations, and how value can be captured and created. One of the key issues of digitalization has been its capacity to enforce new ecosystems and the consequent rise of a new breed of entrepreneurs and ventures exploiting the opportunity of digital business. Therefore, this book discusses and presents the main challenges and trends related to digital entrepreneurship to an audience of managers and scholars. Moreover, this volume aims to provide a unified survey of both practice and current scientific work on the topic, considering the key issues for strategy and management as well as the role of technology in developing new digital ventures. Thus, as in my previous volumes, I will consider different perspectives, from information systems, technology management and innovation research to strategy and marketing, among others. Accordingly, this volume aims to create a bridge between industry practices suitable to be used by established businesses to have a strategic overview of what is digital entrepreneurship through the lens of academic work. Thus, this book also continues the mission of the former volumes I have published, aiming to provide a toolbox and "food for thoughts" to practitioners too. So, as in previous work, each theme will be analyzed in its technical and managerial aspects, also through the use of case studies and examples"--
