Summary: | Herman van Veen started painting after the death of his parents, almost twenty years ago. His works are colorful abstract fields of paint that do not tolerate demarcation. He exhibited in Paris (Espace Pierre Cardin), Cape Town, Bruges, Antwerp (Two of a kind with Robert Helsmoortel), Museum Singer Laren, Stralsund (Spiegelungen with Friedensreich Hundertwasser), Leeuwarden (Nature Museum Fryslân). His painting The Blue Cross hangs in the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. He has a permanent exhibition space in the Herman van Veen Arts Center in Soest and his colorful abstract work can now also be seen on the walls of Schouwburg Utrecht. Exhibition: Stadsschouwburg, Utrecht, The Netherlands (03.09.-18.10.2021)
