Summary:	'JORDFAST' is a photographic portrait of Samsø created in collaboration between the Italian art photographer Luca Berti and Samsø Museum. The book depicts people, architecture and the cultural landscape on Samsø with a special focus on the traces of the pre-industrial rural culture. The book contains more than 80 b/w photographs, which were taken with an analogue large-format camera in the period 2013-2020. The book is divided into five chapters, each of which describes one of Samsø's five historical parishes. The chapters begin with a short cultural-historical description of the parish, as well as a map from the 19th century, on which it is stated where the photographs were taken.
