Summary:Manchu monolingual collection of exemplary essays in the Chinese tradition. Compilation and translation commissioned by the Kangxi Emperor and carried out by a team led by Xu Qianxue. Compared to the Chiense counterpart the Manchu text is printed only in black ink, with the interlinear commentaries but not the collated commentaries by previous scholars or the emperor, which were printed in color in the Chinese version. It is also without the red ink markings indicating proper names or puncuation. Some texts in the Chinese version are not included.
