Local Note:This title was originally housed with the other volumes in the Select library (121 v.; AAS copy lacks v. 115) in a wooden cabinet measuring 29 x 18 3/4 x 5 inches. The Select library, with cabinet, was issued for sale to schools and family libraries for $33. The American Antiquarian Society purchased the Select library volumes and cabinet from Benjamin Tighe, Sept. 20, 1949. The cabinet is displayed in the office of the Curator of Children's Literature, Antiquarian Hall.
