Summary:Logbook of the schooner JOHN MURRAY kept by an unidentified person on a trading voyage from Castine, Maine to Baltimore, Maryland to Matanzas, Cuba and then to St. Thomas, 8 October 1846-8 February 1847. Entries record daily navigational notes on the weather, wind conditions, and sailing directions and courses. harbour log kept at Dominica, St. Thomas, and Matanzas. The schooner was commanded by Jefferson Devereux.
