| Notes: | A special issue sent out by H.H. Walz, the editor of Laymen's work, after he attended the World Council of Churches' Assembly at Evanston, and then resigned from the WCC over the issue of laymen in the churches. In the place of the usual issue of the Laymen's work he has issued this special issue containing two lectures which he gave in the U.S. in 1954, printed courtesy of The Shane quarterly, concerning the meaning and place of laymen's work within the Church.
