| Notes: | Dr Sheila C. Vir, MSc PhD is a Senior Consultant and Founder Director of Public Health Nutrition and Development Centre, New Delhi. Dr Vir completed post-graduation from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi and was awarded PhD by the Institute of Clinical Sciences, Queen's University of Belfast, United Kingdom. She joined UNICEF in 1987 and worked closely with the Government of India and State Government of Uttar Pradesh in policy formulation, development of innovative strategies and programme designs as well in the implementation of public health nutrition programmes. She is a life member of the Nutrition Society of India (NSI) and the Indian Public Health Association. She is a recipient of the Commonwealth Van den Berg Nutrition Award 1978, NSI Srikantia Memorial Lecture Award, 2013 and Kamala Puri Sabharwal 42nd Memorial Lecture Award 2015.
