Summary:"The Word of God is contained in the Bible, but to say that the Book is the Word of God, is a deplorable error. The Word is God. Our Faith or Trust is in Him as the Almighty revealed, and not as the Almighty conceived. The Lord Jesus is One with the Word, and the Revelations are the same; Divine Faith and Christian Faith being identical. Now, Faith in God, taking its birth in the fact of His having revealed himself to Man as The Almighty, is, by the simple nature of this Revelation, emancipated from all human conception, and thereby placed beyond the errors of Theology, which has made of the Almighty revealed the Almighty concerned"--Introduction.
