Summary:Pagã (Pagan) narrates a ritual of celebration of the woman's body, her pleasure, her freedom and her vivid insubordination. Designed by Regina Parra (São Paulo, 1984) as a show and a program of performances for the second floor of the Pinacoteca Estação, the transdisciplinary project brings the visual arts closer to other languages, such as theater, music, literature, dance and cinema. In this work, conceived as a tragedy with nine scenes, the artist interweaves different narratives and times: Greek mythology: the Villa of the Mysteries (second century BC) in Pompeii, Italy, the book "A paixão segundo G.H. (1964), by Clarice Lispector, and so many other stories starring women. Edited as a theatrical libretto, this catalogue presents the rubrics of all the scenes that make up the script of Pagã", as well as an interview with Regina Parra and information about the main collaborators of the project.
