Summary:Namibia has experienced strong growth and economic stability, but faces significant challenges and structural issues. Public debt is rising and reserve coverage is below safe levels. Banks' balance sheets appear robust, but rising housing prices and household indebtedness pose macro-financial concerns. Deep-rooted structural problems have kept unemployment and income inequality unacceptably high.
