Summary:Report submitted in response to a resolution of the Ohio Senate requesting information on whether the Ohio Canal at Massillon, in Stark County, ought to be supplied with additional water to improve navigation. The report indicates that when the canal was constructed it was thought that additional water would be needed. Possibilities described in the report are a dam at the outlet of the Scipo Lake with water feeding into a reservoir, and a dam and feeder on Tuscarawas. The report is addressed to the Ohio Senate and is signed by William Rayen, President.
