Summary:Report, including a minority report, with evidence and testimony regarding bribery and corruption related to an ordinance passed at the Constitutional Convention of 1868, and the passage of bills by the General Assembly. The ordinance is named, "An ordinance reducing the amount of bonds authorized to be issued by the Wilmington, Charlotte and Rutherford Rail Road Company." Of note, the majority report includes testimonies and indicates that several persons failed to show up to testify, and requests that the committee be discharged. The minority report recommends that Senator Robbins be acquitted of intentional wrong.
