Summary:	Report of a Michigan House select committee "to whom was referred the resolution instructing them 'to inquire what person or persons, if any, now holding a seat or seats in this house, was or were, at the time of his or their election, by the constitution of this State, ineligible to a seat in this House.'" The report includes a discussion of Section eight, article four of the constitution which lists persons ineligible to hold office due to other positions they hold. The report concludes with a list of persons who were possibly ineligible and the offices they held when they were elected. The list includes several notary publics, a circuit court commissioner, a regent of the University, and a prosecuting attorney. The report is signed by M.B. Martin, Ch'n Committee on Elections.
