Summary:This lecture will highlight the different treatment options for extraction sockets with implants. The presentation will focus on the sequences of treatment for sockets with healthy and inflammed tissues, the timing of implant placement, the bone graft of choice, membrane placement or not and which cases are good candidates for immediate implantation. The concept of immediate, early and delayed loading will be discussed with an emphasis on the extraction socket defect.
