Featuring a Clinical Colloquium from the 2009 ACSM annual meeting, the DVD discusses why sudden cardiac death is such a critical issue and looks at the two main scenarios for this event in adults. The DVD also features a biological model of sudden cardiac death that can be used to help identify those individuals who might otherwise be prone to it. With regard to cardiac death, the DVD also details the limitations of expensive diagnostic screening in asymptomatic persons.
